ISAJE is the first society for addiction journal
editors and was formally constituted in 2001 as a non-profit
organization. ISAJE holds major meetings every year providing
an opportunity to discuss shared problems. Full membership
with voting rights is open to editors and staff of peer-reviewed
journals, with flexible membership fees.
The Society addresses the needs of journal editors, their
staffs, authors and reviewers, for support and guidance in
our field. We organize training seminars, and through online
and printed material we offer guidance on ethical regulations
and publication standards. We especially support journals
published in the developing world and those published in languages
other than English. We represent the interests of scientific
publishing vis-à-vis database and indexing systems,
publishers, and society at large.

interest here.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Society is established to promote excellence
in the communication and dissemination of information on addiction
and related sciences within the scientific community and to
those who have responsibility for the prevention, treatment,
cure, professional training and policy formation in this field.
