The 2012 ISAJE annual meeting was held at the Hotel Altis from 26 to 29 September in Lisbon, Portugal. There was a one day introduction to the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) (pictured) on Wednesday 26 September, followed by the ISAJE meeting itself on 27-28 September.
The planned schedule was follows:
- Wednesday 26 September – introduction to the EMCDDA followed by cocktails, hosted by EMCDDA, and dinner at a local restaurant in the evening
- Thursday 27 September – ISAJE meeting, followed by dinner at a Lisbon restaurant
- Friday 28 September – ISAJE meeting, followed by optional Fado concert and dinner
- Saturday 29 September – departures

ICARA MEETING, LISBON 2012
In conjunction with the ISAJE meeting in Lisbon, there was be a constituting meeting of the International Confederation of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Research Associations (ICARA), on September 29-30 at the EMCDDA headquarters.
